XKEMA – Product roadmap

Product roadmap

What we have already launched and what comes next.

A high-level view of XKEMA’s evolution: platform foundations, collaboration tools, integrations and where we want to take the product in the coming years.

Timeline

Milestones and long-term vision.

From the first core version to AI-assisted workflows and manufacturing integrations. This roadmap is directional, not a contract, but it clearly marks where we are heading.

Q1 2025 — Core platform in production

Completed

Solid platform foundation: project structure, central library, traceability between elements and integrated viewing of technical documentation.

  • Versioned projects and elements
  • Central library of components and documents
  • Integrated viewers and first usage metrics (KPIs)

Q2–Q4 2026 — Collaboration and data governance

Completed

Consolidation of team work: access control, contextual collaboration and structured recording of technical knowledge.

  • Roles and permissions by team and project
  • Comments and reviews linked to real elements
  • Integrated knowledge base (wiki / lessons learned)
  • Assisted data extraction from datasheets to populate the database

Q2–Q3 2026 — Practical integrations and automation

Planned

Focused integrations with distributors and improved automation on data already structured in the platform.

  • Selective synchronization of component availability and lifecycle
  • Component usage statistics in the database and trend analysis
  • KPIs focused on data quality and reuse

Q4 2026 — Intelligent assistance

Exploration

Helper functions based on rules and context to reduce errors and accelerate repetitive tasks, without replacing the engineer’s judgment.

  • Integrated checklists and review flows with sign-offs
  • Suggestions based on history and previous reuse
  • Smart documents to handle equipment and board testing

2027+ — Scaling and industrial integration

Vision

Consolidation of XKEMA as a technical governance layer for organizations with multiple projects, teams and manufacturing workflows.

  • Advanced traceability from requirements to manufacturing
  • Selective integrations with PLM, ERP and manufacturing systems
  • Support for processes and audits at scale

How to read this roadmap

A living plan, guided by real teams.

It is not a promise set in stone, but an honest snapshot of where we are going. Priorities change depending on what we learn from pilots and from teams already using XKEMA.

From top to bottom

In production → In progress → Planned → Vision.
What is closest to reality is at the top of the timeline. As you move down, the time horizon grows… and so does the uncertainty.

Expected changes

Labels (In production / In progress / Planned / Vision) can move. If we see that something unlocks several teams at once, it moves up in priority. If it does not provide enough value, it disappears from the roadmap without drama.

Feedback inside the roadmap

Each block is born from real conversations: pilots, review sessions and repeated friction. If you see something that fits you (or something missing), tell us: it may change the next iteration.
